Constitutional Reform & Treaty with Indigenous Australians?

The Aboriginal Victorians Bill 2018 clearly identifies that the state of Victoria “acknowledges Victorian traditional owners as the first peoples”. In addition, that the state recognizes “the diversity of Aboriginal Victorians, their communities and cultures, and the intrinsic connection of traditional owners to the Country.” It also outlines the understanding between the Aboriginal representative body and the state with respect to the treaty negotiation framework.

The Treaty Negotiation Framework

The Aboriginal representative body together with the Victorian state must ensure that the negotiation of treaties or treaties:

What Is Debt Recovery: How To Recoup Unpaid Invoices?

Small businesses are prime targets for invoices being left unpaid. This makes it exceedingly difficult to monitor and manage invoices, as well as outlay ongoing fees for an accountant.

Additionally, while an accountant or bookkeeper is equipped to ‘balance your checkbook’, trying to recover money that’s unpaid is an entirely different matter.

When you’re a small business, any unpaid amount is felt that much more acutely. If you don’t have the resources to constantly spend time chasing

NewsGuild president Jon Schleuss says NBC News and MSNBC can quickly end the ugly labor dispute that resulted in rank-and-file staffers walking off the job on Thursday – if they quit breaking federal labor laws.

“NBC has violated federal law by laying people off before there’s a full contract negotiated. So, the folks here at NBC organized a union about

NY department of health ‘exploring options’ after judge strikes down COVID vaccine mandate for health workers

A New York Supreme Court judge struck down a mandate Friday that required all health care workers in the state to be vaccinated against the coronavirus, said Gov. Kathy Hochul and the New York State Department of Health had exceeded their authority.

The state health department said Saturday it is “exploring its options” after the ruling.

The Canadian government is working to pare back the law that has driven Meta Platforms, Google and other tech companies to threaten to cut news links out of their feeds rather than share revenue with publishers.

The Online News Act, which is slated to take effect in less than six months, requires that digital platforms reach deals with Canadian news outlets to share revenue for their content. Google and Meta, the respective parents of Facebook and Instagram, lobbied against the law, and have pledged to block Canadian news rather than pay up.

But after months of appearing steadfast in enforcing
