The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has activated a statewide Missing Child Alert for a 16-year-old Jacksonville girl who police were searching for Sunday saying she was a “missing endangered teen.”
Jonae Elizabeth Seaborn might be with 33-year-old Georges Jerome and they may be traveling in a red sport utility vehicle, according to FDLE and the Sheriff’s Office.
FDLE also released an updated photo of Seaborn, who the agency described as Black, about 5-feet, 5 inches tall, weighs about 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Police didn’t have a description of the clothes either Seaborn or Jerome might be wearing. And there were no details released about the SUV that they might be in.

About 8 am Sunday, the Sheriff’s Office issued a news release saying it was searching for Seaborn.
She was reported missing by family members “under suspicious circumstances” from the Dunn Avenue and Biscayne Boulevard area of the Northside, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The search is ongoing as police work to determine her safety.
