The Law Society of Scotland is the professional body for Scottish solicitors. We promote excellence among solicitors by way of the assist and regulation of our members. Law can be utilized more broadly to discuss with a set of laws, such as all of a nation’s laws. To say murder is towards the law is to say that murder isn’t allowed within the geographic space being referred to, similar to a state or nation. The townspeople took the law into their own hands before the sheriff took motion.
