A New Jersey lawyer was arrested this week in connection with a series of decade-old rapes in Boston after forensic genealogy linked him to the crime spree.

Matthew J. Nilo, 35, was arrested at his home in Weehawken around 4:30 pm Tuesday, the Boston Globe reported.

He has been charged with three counts of aggravated rape, two counts of kidnapping, one count of assault with intent to rape, and one count of indecent assault and battery in connection with the attacks on four women in the Terminal Street area between August 2007 and December 2008, the outlet said.

Union of India & Others, wherein the court noted that the punishments awarded to service persons by the Armed Forces were not proportionate and excessively harsh. The court suggested a review mechanism by the Armed Forces Tribunal. Consequently, the Armed Forces Tribunal Act was formulated in 2007. The Armed Forces Tribunal performed the function of a specialized tribunal catering to cases exclusively arising from the Armed Forces.
